Joe Adams

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jeremy Matheny will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Cotton Brewer, Shane Adams, Greg Pollock, Terry Roncoli, Mike O’Steen and Buddy Dean.
He was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Obion County, son of the late Joe Hogan and Betty Ruth (Kirk) Adams. He married Dianne (Matheny) Adams on Nov. 25, 1992. She survives. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 30 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Whitney Little of Kenton; his daughter, Erica Adams of Pittsburgh; his brother, Timmy Adams of the Shawtown community; his sister, Brenda Vancleave of Union City; and five grandchildren, Kelsey Adams of Hornbeak and Preslee Little, Rylee Smith, Austin Little and Branten Smith, all of Kenton.
He was also preceded in death by his son, J.J. Adams; and his daughter, Amanda Adams.
