Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rives.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Naylor, Clay Naylor, Cole Bizwell, Bart Cranford, Brent Cranford, Bryan Cranford and Clint Powell.
Honorary pallbearers will be the former Rives High School Class of 1956 and her “phone buddies,” Jim Cloar and Joan Williams.
The family requests that memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 688 Sublett Road, Rives, TN 38253.
She was born April 20, 1938, in Obion County, daughter of the late Leonard and Velma (Sanders) Lippard. She married L.T. Ransom in November 1985. He died Feb. 22, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Rob Naylor of Rives; three sons and her daughter-in-law, Jackie and Shanda Bizwell and Jerry Bizwell, all of Rives, and Bobby L. Bizwell of Indiana; five grandchildren and the spouse of one, Kelly Naylor and Cole J. Bizwell, both of Rives, Clay Naylor of Little Rock, Ark., Brittney and John Gilliland of Halls and Heather Bizwell of Indiana; her great-grandson, Brantlee Gilliland of Halls; her first husband, Bobby G. Bizwell of Big Sandy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Claude Cranford of the Shawtown community and Phyllis and Stan Powell of Rives; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and MaryAnna Bizwell.
