Dave Frankum

Services were to be 11 a.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Tim Atkins and Albert McCadney officiating. Burial was to follow in Stanley Chapel Cemetery near Union City.
Pallbearers were to be Dan Frankum, Mitchell Frankum, B.J. Frankum, Jack Frankum, Ron Cooper, Wynn Burnett, David Critchlow Jr., Kyle Alexander, Sam Shellabarger, Darrin Parks, Portis Tanner, Tim Blackley, Mike Sumrow and Lynn Jenkins.
The family requests that memorials be made to First Friends Fund at Union City First United Methodist Church, 420 East Main St., Union City, TN 38281.
He was born May 11, 1967, in Memphis, son of Diana (Daulton) Frankum of Union City and the late R.E. “Sonny” Frankum. He married the former Amy Lynn Sims Sept. 9, 1998. She survives.
He was CEO of Glenn Daulton Inc. and was a member of Union City First United Methodist Church. A commissioner of the Northwest Tennessee Port Authority, he was also a member of the advisory board of directors of Commercial Bank and Trust in Union City. He served on the Obion County Election Commission and was on the board of directors of Poplar Meadows Country Club, where he had served as president. He was also past president of Alpha Tau Omega fraterniy/Beta Pi chapter and past president of the Inter-Fraternity Council at UT Martin.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Amy Frankum; his mother, Diana Frankum; three sons, Charlie Frankum, Finn Frankum and Coop Frankum, all of Union City; his brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Chrissy Frankum of Nashville; 10 nieces, Katy Lane Frankum, Jorge Frankum, Davey Frankum and Dani Frankum, all of Union City, Gracie Frankum of Murfreesboro, Lexi Frankum and Halle Jewell Frankum, both of Nashville, and Heather Crowe, Beth Ann Crowe and Amanda Crowe, all of Martin; three nephews, Mitchell Frankum and Jack Frankum, both of Nashville, and B.J. Frankum of Union City; his sister-in-law, Kelly Frankum of Union City; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Donna Sims of Sharon; his sister-in-law and her spouse, Lee Ann and Phil Crowe of Martin; and his brother-in-law, Sam Sims of Sharon.
He was also preceded in death by his father, R.E. “Sonny” Frankum; and his brother, Tim Frankum.
