David McBride

David Thomas McBride, 55, a resident of Troy, died Nov. 9, 2013, in Obion County.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Seals, Jamie Roach, Johnny Hooper, Keith Clouse, James Terry and Jimmy Seals. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Powell and Don McGaugh.
The family has requested that memorials for McBride be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
McBride was born Oct. 12, 1958, in Obion County. He is the son of Billy “Bill” Thomas and Frances McAnulty McBride of Rives. He was a farmer and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer, and was a member of the Hickman, Ky., Country Club.
In addition to his parents, McBride is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Colby and Deven McBride and Jeremiah and Elizabeth McBride, all of Union City; two grandchildren, Aiden and Layla McBride of Union City; a sister and brother-in-law, Patty and David Howard of Kenton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Judy McBride of Union City and Jeff and Beth McBride of Rives, as well as several nieces and nephews.
