Kenneth Ursery

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jimmy Brown and Mickey Hanks officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rives.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James Ursery, Mike Ursery, Keith Ursery, David Ursery, Jeff Ursery, Jeff Victory, Randy Worrell and Ricky Daniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cloar and John Cloar.
The family requests that memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church senior adults, 688 Sublett Road, Union City, TN 38261.
He was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Obion County, son of the late Clyde and Clara Mai (Clark) Ursery. He married the former Wilma Jean Stewart Aug. 29, 1958. She survives. He was a retired service manager and salesman for Herman Jenkins Motors and worked for other  dealerships for more than 53 years. A U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War, he was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Adult Bible Sunday School Class.
He coached the former women’s Locker Room Bad News Bears softball team and also coached the Collision Specialty co-ed softball team.
He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Tony Daniel and Jeanna and Tim Walker, all of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Gina Ursery of Rives; six grandchildren, Seth Ursery, Travis Daniel, Peyton Daniel and Caleb Walker, all of Union City, Chelsea Ursery of Denver and Randi Kaye Lucas of Puxico, Mo.; two great-grandchildren, Maddux Ursery and Parker Ursery, both of Union City; his brother, J.C. Ursery of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Woods, Mattie Pearl Ursery and Hazel Mai Ursery; and his stillborn brother.
