Nancy Wharton

Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to Memorial Bible Fund, P.O. Box 487, Martin, TN 38237.
She was a member of McConnell Baptist Church and was a retired clerk from the U.S. Postal Service, where she worked for 32 years in Nashville and Union City. She lived most of her life in Obion County.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas N. Wharton of Martin and Matthew Scott Wharton of Jackson; two stepsons, David B. Wharton of Union City and Robert E. Wharton of Newbern; five grandchildren, Matthew G. Wharton of Greenfield, Angelina N. McClure and Candice Joy Wharton, both of Dresden, Morghan Ray of Union City and Meghan Posey of Alabama; and a great-grandchild, Kayson Posey of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lewis and Helen Louise (McIntyre) Matthews; her son, William Brian Wharton; and her half brother, Bobby Joe Craddock.
