Ursula Luker

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Protemus Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Troy, with the Rev. James Gunter officiating.
She was born Sept. 26, 1949, in London, daughter of Zofia (Matusiak) Szostak of Huron Township, Mich., and the late Emilian Szostak. She married James Freeman Luker Dec. 22, 1985. He died February 2005. She was a former employee in the accounting department of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., where she worked for 18 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. She was a member of Protemus Cumberland Presbyterian Church and of the church’s women’s ministries and seniors club.
She is survived by two sons, John Killingbeck of Troy and Robert Luker of Mt. Washington, Ky.; her grandson, J.D. Killingbeck of Troy; and three sisters, Kaz Tysiac of Peoria, Ariz., Eva Drafta of Novi, Mich., and Marysia Sitko of Huron Township.
