He was born Dec. 21, 1953, in Berlin, Wis., son of Betty (Rosenthal) Witkowski of Needah, Wis., and the late Bernard Witkowski. He married the former Sandy Lamphier Aug. 30, 1980. She survives. He was a retired truck driver.
He is also survived by two daughters and his son-in-law, Tami and Brian Buttrey of Martin and Sara Lemmers of Larson, Wis.; his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Clare Zimmerman of Appleton, Wis.; his brother-in-law, Terry Lamphier of Troy; seven grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
