‘Cricket’ Smith

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. John Carroll officiating. Burial will follow there in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Burns, J.R. Jones, Clay Smith, Robert Coleman, Christopher Warren and Peter Warren.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
He was born Aug. 10, 1956, in Tiptonville, son of the late Raymond and Christine (Shaffer) Smith. He was a Baptist and a car salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Clark) Smith of Obion; two sons, Jeffery Smith and Ricky Smith, both of Hornbeak; his daughter, Candedace Smith of Obion; two brothers, Jimmy Smith and Timmy Smith, both of Obion; four sisters, Sissy Warren and Pam Lowery, both of Hornbeak, Connie Coleman of Trimble and Norma Napier of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; and a special friend, Linda Morales of Hornbeak.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Willie Ray Smith.
