Martha Pollock

Martha Lucille Pollock, 86, of Obion died Sept. 24, 2013, at her residence.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. George Hutchison officiating, assisted by the Rev. B.J. Cohn.
Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery west of Obion.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
She was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Obion, daughter of the late Samuel and Josie (Hardin) Davis. She was an employee of the former Salant and Salant in Obion.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Berry and Louise Lynch, both of Obion; five sons, John L. Pollock of Union City, Sidney Pollock, Jerry Pollock and Robert Pollock, all of Obion, and Joe Pollock of Rutherford; her sister, Vera Bryson of Obion; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, N.L. Pollock in 2009; four brothers, Edward Davis, Luther Davis, Johnny Davis and Ray Davis; her sister, Effie Mae Powell; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
