Thomas Ortloff

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home in Kenosha. Interment will follow there in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
He was born Jan. 27, 1934, in Arlington, Minn., son of the late Alfred and Isabel (Graupman) Ortloff. He service his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed in San Francisco from March 3, 1952, until his honorable discharge Nov. 2, 1954.
On June 15, 1957, in New York Mills, Minn., he was united in marriage to the former Judith Hammie. They were blessed with four children and 54 years of marriage before Judith passed away March 3, 2012.
He was employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in both North Chicago and Tennessee plants and after his retirement worked for Taste of Wisconsin Restaurant and Charcoal Grill in Racine.
He was a member of Kenosha Moose Lodge 286 and enjoyed vegetable gardening. A Green Bay Packer fan, he loved to support his children and grandchildren in all their special events.
He will be deeply missed by his four children, Randy (Pauline) Ortloff and Shelly (Kathy Kurtz) Shewmake, all of Kenosha, Pam (Ed) Davis of Durand, Wis., and Vicki (Randy) Eller of Mt. Juliet; his brother, Jerry (Adele) Ortloff of Cudahy, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
