Ray Morris

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at South Fulton Baptist Church Broadway location, with burial to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the church 4-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Friday until the service hour.

He was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church and had been the owner and operator of Farmer’s Lime and Fertilizer Co. in South Fulton since 1976. He was also a self-employed farmer for more than 40 years. He lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (McDaniel) Morris, whom he married Aug. 31,1963; two sons and his daughter-in-law, Jimmy Lynn Morris of Panama City, Fla., and Jeffery Ray and Tina Morris of South Fulton; three brothers, Harold Morris of Union City, Wayne Morris of Palmersville and Woody Morris of South Fulton; four sisters, Sue Polhamous of Union City and Paula Morris, Rita Reams and Freida Luker, all of South Fulton; nine grandchildren, Ashley Morris, Jonathan Ray Morris and Lukas Alexander Morris, all of South Fulton, Keven Andrew Morris and Lindsey Faith Morris, both of Madisonville, Ky., Lauren Brooke (Morris) Bush of Beale Air Force Base in California, Stephen Alexander McCoy of Panama City and Tyler Eugene Morris and Hannah Lee Morris, both of Martin; three great-grandchildren, RyLee Jo Morris of Martin and Easton Drake Morris and Ansley Ray Morris, both of Madisonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Omar Woody and Frances (Bone) Morris; and his son, Donald Eugene Morris.
