Lionell Barnett

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Melvin Poe officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Doughten, David Younger, Stevie Moore, Stratton Moore, Bobby Baker and Michael Fletcher.
He was born June 30, 1922, in Lake County, son of the late Herman and Maude Barnett. He married the former Jean Terry Oct. 2, 1982. She died July 12, 2013. He was a retired tow boat engineer and had served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Jean Wright of Union City and Richard and Sheila Wright of South Fulton; six grandchildren and their spouses, Tina and Bobby Baker of South Fulton, Lisa and Michael Fletcher and Dawn and David Younger, all of Troy, Casey Wright of Mississippi and Treena and Stevie Moore and Bobby and Jenni Doughten, all of Union City; 10 great-grandchildren; and his niece, Laura Smith of Naples, Fla.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, A.D. Barnett and Billy Barnett.
