Bonnie Carney

Bonnie Ellen Carney, 83, of Union City died 8:57 p.m. Aug. 30, 2013, at Weakley County Nursing Home near Dresden.
Graveside services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Ron Gray officiated.
Edmaiston-Mosley Fun-eral Home was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
Family members and friends served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Carney was born March 31, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Elmer Eugene “Jack” and Eula Mae (Phillips) Chamberlain. She married John Harold Carney in 1947. He died May 30, 1985. She was a homemaker who loved collecting antiques and was of the Episcopal faith.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Carney and his fiancée, Tracy King, and Johnny Carney, all of Dresden; and one sister, Patty Chamberlain of Cadiz, Ky.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold Chamberlain, J.C. Chamberlain, Clyde Chamberlain and Elmer Chamberlain; and one sister, Mary McReynolds.
