Sharon Burress

Sharon (Meador) Burress, 67, of Jonesboro, Ark., and of Dresden died Aug. 18, 2013.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at West Hill Cemetery near Rives.
Visitation will be held at White-Ranson Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
She was born May 6, 1946, in Black Oak, Ark., daughter of the late Elbert and Opal (Alley) Meador. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired office manager.
She is survived by her daughter, Kandy Burress of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sons, Blake Meador of Memphis and Rick Burress of St. Petersburg; her sister, Maxine Troxler of Jonesboro; and two brothers, Lyman Meador of South Fulton and Frank Meador of Corinth, Miss.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Burress; three brothers, Gene Meador, W.H. “Buddy” Meador and Leon Meador; and her sister, Barbara Strefling.
