Mary Lewis

Mary Lee Lewis, 84, of Hornbeak died Aug. 12, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Ricky Stover. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Dru Smith, Craig Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, Jason Lewis, Dalton Lewis, Bill Waggoner and Gerald Simrell.
The Lewis family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by her five sons, Gary Lewis and wife, Peggy, of Troy, Kenneth Lewis and wife, Becky, and Darrell Thomas Lewis, all of Hornbeak, John Lewis and wife, Linda, of Union City, James Lewis and wife,Valery, of Obion; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeff Burroughs, Jonathan and Angela Lewis, Leanne and Dru Smith, Craig Lewis, Jason Lewis, Laura and Bill Waggoner, Rebecca and Robert Jones, Will Regan, Dalton Lewis, Alaina Lewis, Brandon Stephenson and Breanna Stephenson; nine great-grandchildren, Alexandrya Burroughs, Donovan Burroughs, Noah Lewis, Addisyn Lewis, Leanna Blakley, Katie Smith, Bryce Smith, Owen Waggoner and Cooper Waggoner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willie “Bud” Lewis; her son, Donald Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Lewis and Hannah Blakley; her sister, Marie Hoard; and two brothers Frank Lowery and George Lowery.
