Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service leading “Living By Faith.”

Melba Carson taught the adult Sunday school from John 6:35. Jesus said unto them; I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

It was good to welcome Bro. Billy Cobb to our services.

We sang “Happy Birthday” to Edna Johle, who was still weak from her long illness.  Mary led “Hallelujah Square” and “He Abides.”

Prayer requests were made for Sally Copeland, who is in the hospital and Judi Jones who was in Vanderbilt Hospital with two broken legs after having been in a wreck. We also prayed for Judi’s co-driver, David Jones, who has a broken arm and shoulder. We wish them a fast recovery and our prayers are with them all.

Bro. Bobby led “I Saw The Light.” Patsy Baker sang “He’s In the Midst.” Mary sang “Surely the Presence Of the Lord Is In This Place.”

Bro. Bobby turned to Psalms 150:1-6 and Psalms 95:2. These scriptures are full of praise for the Lord. The last six chapters of Psalms are written in praise to the Father.  Praise Him for His love, salvation and everything in your life.

Bro. Bobby opened our evening service singing “I’m Redeemed.” Mary led “I’ll Fly Away,” “In the Sweet By and By” and “When We All Get To Heaven.” Mary sang “The Only Real Peace.” Bro. Ray Lainhart sang “In the Garden.” Bro. Bobby sang “This Is What Heaven Means To Me.” Patsy Baker sang “The Shepherd Of My Valley.”

Bro. Bobby preached from Ephesians 6: 10-18. There is much evil and temptation in the world today.  Put on the whole armor or God that you may stand against the wiles of the devil. Walk daily with the Lord for a blessed life.

We again formed our prayer circle at the altar to pray for the needs.
