The Dresden Senior Citizen’s upcoming events for the week of March 18-22 are as follows:
Monday, March 18 — Walking/exercise gym at 7 a.m.-all day; chair exercises with Joyce, 10-11:30 a.m.; bean bag toss, all day; ladder ball, all day; Shuffleboard, all day; and Rook, 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 19 — Walking/exercise, 7 a.m.-all day; line dance class with Liz, 10-11 a.m.; bean bag toss, all day; ladder ball, all day; Shuffleboard, all day; Rook, 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 20 — Walking/exercise gym, 7 a.m.-all day; chair exercise, 10-11:30 a.m.; bean bag toss, all day; ladder ball, all day; Shuffleboard, all day; Rook, 12:30; trip to Boyette’s in Tiptonville for lunch. Van will leave at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, March 21 — Walking/exercise gym, 7 a.m., all day; Dominoes with Edith, 9:30; bean bag toss, all day; ladder ball, all day; Shuffleboard, all day; Rook, 12:30 p.m.
Friday, March 22 — Walking/exercise gym, 7 a.m., all day; bean bag toss, all day; ladder ball, all day; Shuffleboard, all day; Rook, 12:30 p.m.
The senior center is excited to announce it will be hosting a trip to New York City, Oct. 10-15. This will be a 6 days, 5-night trip.
Those interested will board from the Dresden Senior Citizen’s Center on a motorcoach — video and restroom equipped.
Five-nights lodging includes three consecutive nights in the NYC area; 8 meals including, five breakfasts and 3 dinners; great experiences and beautiful sights; two guided-tours of NYC, including Central  Park, Rockerfeller Center, Times Square, Wall Street, 9-11 Memorial and also a NYC harbor cruise.
There will also be time to take in a broadway show on your own if you choose.
Price with double occupancy is $575. This includes all of the above and all tips are included.
Anyone interested is asked to call to get your name on the list for the trip. A deposit of $100 is due when your name is added.

The senior center would like to invite you to join us each day at the Dresden Senior Center for several fun activities and enjoy socializing with each other,
Some educational workshops are being planned in the near future on diabetes and chronic illness.
