Lifeline Blood Services is temporarily altering the blood drive times for the monthly Union City Health Quest community blood drive. The upcoming Monday blood drive and the April 22 blood drive will be from noon-7 p.m.
“Several of our blood donors would like to be able to give blood during their lunch hours that start at noon and this time change would allow them to do that,” said Tammy Hurst, Lifeline Blood Services field recruiter. “We want to make giving blood as convenient as we can. We will try the new times for March and April and see if they are better suited for more of our donors’ schedules,” Ms. Hurst added.
If the new hours become permanent, Lifeline Blood Services will publicize the change.
