Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service leading “Gettin’ Ready To Leave This World.”

In the absence of our teachers because of sickness, Bro. Bobby taught adult Sunday school from John 1:14 which, tells of God revealing himself to humankind in Jesus Christ. He introduced the gospel group Accents Of Praise. They have been together eight years, and the tenor, Eric Isbell, has a church ministry as well. His wife. Rachel, wrote “Jesus Is My Savior,” “Blue Skies” and “The Message” which are all on their new album.

Bro. Bobby led “Heavens Jubilee” while the offering was taken.

When the group came back to sing, their 11 year old daughter, Autumn, joined in singing “Because Of His Love,” “‘Cause I Believe” and “Water Under The Bridge” which are songs she has written in the past three years. What a talented little girl! Their son also sings and plays the mandolin. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name but he is very good. The whole family was also joined by Lori Simmons. We were all blessed so much and really enjoyed their ministry.

Bro. Bobby opened our evening service singing “Everybody Will Be Happy Over There.” Mary led “Victory” and “It Is Mine.” Patsy Baker sang “I’d Rather Have Jesus.”

Bro. Bobby turned to II Timothy 3:1. We need to know what we believe and why we believe it. The Bible tells us that in the last days perilous times will come. Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal and despisers of good, from such people turn away. Freedom is the knowledge of the truth and the word of God is the truth.

We again closed service with a circle at the altar praying for the needs.

Our ladies ministry will meet Saturday at the fellowship hall with Patsy Baker doing the devotional.
