James David Boulton, 73, of Greenfield, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Greenfield.
He was born May 31, 1939 in Greenfield. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957 and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and Bethel College where he pursued a business degree. He later served his country in the Tennessee and Alabama National Guard from 1961-1968. He was a construction superintendent in Huntsville, Ala. and a life-long farmer where his heart truly was. He was a 50-year member of the Masons-Washington Lodge No. 159, Greenfield, and a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church and participated in many fundraising programs with the Christian Men’s Club, including Hunters for the Hungry. He was an avid sportsman and loved to deer and duck hunt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mrs. Mary Sue White Boulton of Greenfield; two daughters, Demetra Boulton (John) Gordon and Deborah Boulton Lovett (Jay), both of Memphis; one sister, Linda Boulton (Warren) Everett of Greenfield; two granddaughters, Maggie Lovet (David)t Hayes of Milford, Ohio and Shona Lianne Gordon of Memphis,; and one great-grandson, Brody Robert Hayes of Milford, Ohio;
