THOMSON, Ga. (AP) — A coroner has confirmed the identities of all but one person who died when a business jet collided with a 60-foot utility pole and caught fire after aborting its landing at Thomson-McDuffie Regional Airport  Wednesday night in Georgia.
McDuffie County Coroner Foster Wiley confirmed today the identities of four people killed: Dr. Steven Roth, a vascular surgeon; nurse anesthetist Lisa Volpitto; secretary Kim Davidson; and Tiffany Porter. Wiley said dental records would be used in an attempt to confirm the identity of the fifth person.
