On Wednesday evening, Bro Seth Fulcher opened our services singing, “Sweet By and By.” Bro Robert Pogue led our opening prayer. Next we sang “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” Our last congregational song was “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus.” Our youth sang “Just a Little Talk With Jesus.” Good song, good singing.

Bro Billy brought his bible study from Matthew 6:5-13. Bro Gerald Wilkerson led our prayer after the reading of the word. Good bible study on prayer. Bro Scott Fulcher led our closing prayer and sent us to our homes.

Sunday morning, we opened our services singing “There Shall Be Showers of Blessing.” Bro Robert Pogue read from Jeremiah 28:15-17. Bro Bobby Doughty led our opening prayer and blessed our Sunday school classes.

Bro Scott Walker taught our lesson titled, “The Truth of the Gospel” taken from I Timothy 1:3-7. The real truth of the Gospel is that Christ was sent here to save all sinners. Keep the faith.

Bro Jacky Alford led our closing prayer and blessed the preaching hour.

We opened the preaching hour singing, “O, How I Love Jesus.” Bro Billy came for prayers and announcements. Our women’s prayer group “Joy” will meet Feb. 16 at the church at 8:30 a.m. Our Valentine’s meal will be Feb 16. Our youth will serve and all tips will go toward the Youth Conference in Nashville.

Our former pastor, Bro Claude Prince, is very sick. We need to remember him now and always.

Our ushers, Hunter and Ryan Doughty, came for our offering, with Hunter leading the offertory prayer. We also took an offering for our youth, with Bro Seth Fulcher leading the prayer.

Our next song was “Heavenly Sunlight.” We sang “Happy Birthday” to Logan Beddingfield. Our men’s group, Redeemed, sang, “Standing on the Promises.” Bro Gerald Wilkerson, Sue, and Barbara Castleman sang “How Great Thou Art.” God Bless them all for the good music.

Bro Billy brought his message from Exodus 6:1-8 titled, “God promised us unconditional salvation.” Bro Scott Fulcher blessed the reading of the word through prayer. Our song of invitation was, “Just As I Am.” Madison Garner rededicated her life. Praise the Lord.  Bro Scott Walker led our closing prayer and sent us to our homes.

Sunday evening, we opened our services singing, “Are You Washed in the Blood?” Next we sang, “Sweet By and By.”

Bro Billy brought his message from Ephesians 2:4-7 titled, “But God.” Bro Tom Koker led our prayer and blessed the words we will hear. Good sermon. Our song of invitation was, “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.” Bro Bobby Doughty led our dismissal prayer.
