Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service by singing “I Shall Not Be Moved.”

Edna Johle taught the adult Sunday school from Luke 11:1 which told that believers can learn to pray by following Jesus’ model prayer. Mary led “No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus” and “In the Sweet By and By.”

Events to come are, on Feb. 17, will be our Valentine dinner after our morning service with a program following called “How to be spiritually fit.” There will be no evening service; and March 3 at the morning service, Accents Of Praise singers, a gifted family of talent.

Prayer requests were made and prayed over. Faye Peal sang “Suddenly A Rainbow.” Patsy Baker and Melba Carson sang “Bless the Lord.” Melba Carson and Mary harmonized to “Master Of the Wind.”

Bro Bobby took his message from Matthew 4:18, Mark 1:17, Roman 6:23 and John 5:39. With Harvey Dildine on the piano, Mary led “What A Friend We Have In Jesus,” “The Lily Of The Valley” and “Tell It To Jesus.” Edna Johle sang “I’m Glad I Know Who Jesus Is.” Bro. Ray Lainhart sang “In the Garden.” Harvey Dildine sang “I Know What Lies Ahead.” Bro. Bobby sang “I’ll Never Turn Back” and led “Where Could I Go.” Harvey sang and played “I’m Bound For That City.”

Bro. Bobby turned to Mark 9:14-29 for his message. The devil will come to you as a friend but he is a deceiver, but as the Bible tells us to put on the full armor of God, which is the word of God, to rebuke the devil and if you are a believer, he will have to go.

We again formed our prayer circle at the altar to bring our praises and requests to our Lord.
