At the college level Posted: Wednesday, February 6, 2013 6:00 pm The Messenger 02.06.13 Two students from the Union City area were awarded degrees from Lipscomb University in Nashville at the recent conclusion of the fall semester. McCall Graves, a graduate of Obion County Central High School, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in family and consumer sciences with a family relations concentration. She graduated cum laude. Heather Lansaw received a post baccalaureate certificate in aging services leadership. Lipscomb’s Dec. 15 commencement ceremony was one of its largest winter ceremonies ever, with 400 degrees awarded to the Class of 2012. , |
