Completed arrangements are being announced for Mark Steven “Steve” Tittle, 62, of Troy, who died Feb. 4, 2013, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, with the Revs. Phillip Senn and Jeremy Ballinger officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
His nephews, Cody Gregg, Carson Gregg, Chase Clanton, Cole Clanton, Chance Clanton, Garrett Osborne and Jake Osborne, will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon-3 p.m. at the church.
White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Troy.
He was born June 11, 1950, in Haileyville, Ala., son of the late Loris and Celia (Plunkett) Tittle. He married the former Connie Cooksey March 19, 1991. She survives.
He was a steel contractor and a sportsmen’s guide and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church, where he was an assistant Sunday school teacher and was head of the Brotherhood ministry.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors also include two daughters and his son-in-law, Paige and Barry Wilkinson of Shelbyville and Sara Tittle of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Slade and Anita Tittle of Gallatin and Justin and Bracey Tittle of Dyersburg; 10 grandchildren, Tres, Mark, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Christian, Madison, Gabe, Evan, Lilly and Bella; an expected grandchild; four brothers, Hershell Tittle, Eldon Tittle, Aaron Tittle and James Clinton Tittle; two sisters, Nell McNeal and Janie Adams; three “extended” sisters, Irene, Maelene and Josephine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Walker.
