Barry Barber Posted: Monday, February 4, 2013 4:00 pm The Messenger, February 4, 2013 Completed arrangements are being announced for Barry Lee Barber, 57, of Union City, who died Jan. 31, 2013, at his home. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Troy Road Church of Christ near Obion, with Ray Barber officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Friends may call at Rawls Funeral Home in Union City this evening from 6-8. He was born March 9, 1955, in Union City, son of Jenner V. (Woods) Thomas of Puryear and the late Henry Lee Jones. He was married to the former Pamela Turner July 3, 1993. She survives. He was a member of First Street Church of Christ. Survivors also include his daughter and son-in-law, Tiffanie and Juan Bell of Nashville; his son, Timetheus Barber of Union City; three granddaughters, Terra Bradley, Juaneisha Bell and Jayla Bell, all of Nashville; his grandson, Robert Bradley of Nashville; eight sisters and three brothers-in-law, Brenda Jones and Linda Jones, both of Peoria, Ill., Pamela and Dwight Pettis of Nashville, Gloria and Paul Jenkins of Rives, Janet and Barry McKinny of Memphis, Rhonda Barber and LaSonya Barber, both of Obion, and Bridgitt Ward of Union City; and his stepfather, James Thomas of Puryear.
