State Society of CPAs hosting educators’ symposium in February

The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) is hosting the 2013 Educators’ Symposium on Feb. 22 at the TSCPA Meeting Center in Brentwood.
The annual Educators’ Symposium is a one-day, free event that is open to all high school accounting, finance, business and mathematics teachers, as well as guidance counselors.
The purpose of this event is to give high school educators the resources and tools necessary to encourage students to pursue a career in accounting. Attendees will hear about the latest accounting education issues from industry professionals and network with other educators from all across the state. Lunch will be provided to all attendees, and some discounted hotel rates are available for those who are traveling.
