| | Six businesses were cited last Wednesday night for selling alcohol to a minor. Cited in the undercover sting were Tobacco Barn, Smoke and Suds, 22 Club, Pockets, Los Portales and La Cabana. The Martin Police Department conducted the raid with the Alcohol Beverage Commission. All individuals were charged with sales to a minor and will appear in Weakley County General Sessions Court. All business holders will be required to appear before the City of Martin Beer Board. Los Portales and La Cabana possess alcohol licenses from the state of Tennessee, therefore, may face possible fines from the State of Tennessee. (WCP 1-29-13) | | | | |
