Ruthville Baptist Church news

On Wednesday night we had our prayer meeting and prayed for our sick. We sang a lot of wonderful songs and Bro. Lowell read from Ecclesiastes 1:1-3, 1st Corinthians 3:19, 1 Kings 2:2-3 and Deuteronomy 17:14-20. We closed in prayer.

On Sunday morning was a damp day but everyone was excited to be in God’s house. We sang a song and went to our Sunday school rooms.

Bro. Lowell played and sang “In the Garden.” What a beautiful song! He then preached from Ephesians 4:14, 1 Kings 17:1-24,18:4,19:2 and Job 23:12. What a wonderful message we got Sunday. We closed with song of invitation and prayer.

That night we sang and had a great time in the Lord. Bro. Lowell read from John 2:13-22. What a blessing to have our Lord. There is so much to learn. I cannot get enough about Jesus. He died for our sins and everyone needs to focus on this.
