On Wednesday evening, we opened our services singing “The Lily of the Valley.” Our song leader was Bro Seth Fulcher. Bro Gerald Wilkerson led our opening prayer. We then sang “The Unclouded Day.” Our last congregational song was “At the Cross.” The youth sang “Love Lifted Me.” Bro Billy asked for prayers. There were so many and as always, we pray for all in the church and the community. Our Bible study was from Matthew 6:1-15.  Bro Scott Fulcher led our prayer and blessed our bible study. Prayer should be a private matter between you and God. Very good study. Bro Bobby Doughty led our closing prayer, until we meet again.

We had a wonderful wedding Saturday when Bro Gordon Wade and Natasha were married in a beautiful ceremony.

On Sunday morning, we started our services singing “The Last Mile of the Way.” Bro Robert Pogue read from Colossians 3:13. Bro Scott Fulcher led our opening prayer and blessed our Sunday school classes. Bro Scott Walker taught our lesson called, “A Message of Hope,” taken from Haggai 1:2-9. We need to get our priorities straight in our life and trust in the Lord. Bro Jacky Alford led our prayer and blessed the preaching hour.

Our song leader, Bro Ryan Doughty, opened the preaching hour by having us sing “I Will Sing the Wondrous Story.” Bro Billy came for prayers and announcements. Many prayers were asked for. Our ushers, Seth Fulcher and Wyatt Walker, came for our offering with Wyatt leading the offertory prayer. We then sang “Happy Birthday” to Lily Wilkerson, Anna Pate and Jessica Cook. We sang “Happy Anniversary” to Scott and Jo Stokes. Our next song was “Heavenly Sunlight.”

Bro Billy brought his message from Acts 7:47-50.  Bro Gordon Wade blessed our message in prayer.  God is always with us; He will never leave his children. Our invitational song was “Just As I Am.” Bro Jacky Alford led our dismissal prayer until we meet again.

Wanda Fagan’s husband came through his surgery in Nashville and is doing well.

Our revival is April 21-24. Bro Freddie McDaniel will be our visiting pastor.

Our youth will be hosting a Valentine’s supper for the rest of us to earn money for the youth conference in Nashville.

That evening, our song leader was Bobby Doughty. We began our services singing “Trust and Obey.” Bro Tom Koker led our opening prayer and blessed our services. Next we sang “Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus.” Our last song was “I am Thine, O Lord.”

Bro Billy brought his message from Matthew 5:17-20. Our song of invitation was “Oh, Why Not Tonight?” Bro Bobby Doughty led our closing prayer.
