McConnell Baptist Church news
McConnell Baptist Church news Posted: Thursday, January 31, 2013 6:00 pm Hello to everyone from McConnell. We had a good attendance Sunday even though the weather was cold and rainy. Sunday was Men’s Day. The men fixed breakfast for everyone. It was a great meal, which included sausage, bacon, casseroles, eggs, hash browns, gravy and biscuits. I am sure there were some sweets but I didn’t look for them. That night, we had desserts. The men brought their favorite desserts including cakes, pies, cobblers and cookies. We sure do believe in eating at McConnell. We still have sickness. Some have the stomach virus, others colds, and several having tests run this week. Sympathy is extended to Rosie Fulcher in the loss of her sister, Mrs. Allen. She was 100 years old. Sam Grissom is worse. We have so many that need our prayers. John Woringham fell this week and hurt his leg that he had knee surgery recently. Jerry Pope has an injury to his leg and is walking with a crutch. None
