Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service by singing “Won’t It Be Wonderful There?”

Edna Johle taught adult Sunday school from Colossians 4:2 continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.

Our guests were Larry Freeman and daughter, Tabitha.

It was great seeing Della Freeman back with us after her husband’s confinement in the hospital.

We sang “Happy Birthday” to Lin Jones and “Happy Anniversary” to Chelsene and Kenneth Sisk.

Prayer requests were made and one more soul came forward to accept the Lord and have his name written down in the Book Of Life.

Mary led “Honey In the Rock” and “A New Name In Glory.” Bro. Bobby led “As the Deer Panteth.” Patsy Baker sang “Where Could I Go.” Melba Carson and Mary harmonized to “O For A Thousand Tongues.” Bro Bobby led “Inside the Gates.” Harvey Dildine sang “Man In the Middle.”

Bro. Bobby titled his message “What A Mighty God We Serve” taken from John 1:35. God sent his only son to earth to be born as a babe to Mary and Joseph who were young when they raised Jesus. When God chose his disciples, they had no experience, no great wealth, and were not well-known, just ordinary people. For miracles, God chooses a simple ordinary person with methods we would never think of.

Bro. Bobby opened our evening praise and worship service singing “Everybody Will Be Happy Over There.” Mary led “Sunlight,” “Springs Of Living Water” and “Love Lifted Me.” Patsy Baker sang “Please Forgive Me.” Bro. Bobby sang “Paradise.” Edna Johle sang “I’m Homesick For Heaven.” Mary sang “The King Is Coming.” Bro. Ray Lainhart sang “Where Could I Go.”

Bro. Bobby turned to Psalms 34:1-5. God delights to fellowship with those who are obedient to His word. We again formed a circle at the altar holding hands and praying for the need.
