Union City native Mark Bell, a recruiter for Bethel University’s master of business administration program, was recently named MBA Recruiter of the Year during the school’s annual College of Professional Studies awards program in McKenzie.
CPS vice president Kelly Sanders-Kelley praised Bell for “turning challenges into win/win situations for our students and our program.”
“Mark is a great listener and he is able to stay in tune with our students and their needs,” Ms. Kelley said. “Because of this understanding, as well as his great dependability, he really puts them in positions to succeed.”
Bell and his wife, DeAnna, have two children. The son of Bill and Brenda Bell of Union City, he has been employed at the McKenzie campus since April 2011.
“It is a real honor to be named MBA Recruiter of the Year,” Bell said. “Bethel University provides an atmosphere where achievement is in the hands of the individual. Bethel gives you all the tools necessary to succeed, through support, feedback and recognition. This applies to our staff and our student population.”
Bell added he is “proud to be associated with such a fine university.”
“I look forward to another year of growth and opportunities,” he said.
