Business advice available

Denny Sumner, University of Tennessee at Martin Regional Entrepreneur and Economic Development Center and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center small business specialist, is available to help aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners with business advice at the UT Martin REED Center at 406 South Lindell Street in Martin.
Sumner recently joined the TSBDC after working more than 30 years in the banking industry as a commercial loan officer. He has taught several college classes in finance and economics and is currently teaching microeconomics at UT Martin.
Sumner’s educational background includes an M.B.A. and two Bachelor of Science degrees.  He will be giving advice about business planning, financing options, marketing, customer service, cash flow and other topics.  The consultations are one-on-one, confidential and free.
