Bake sale planned

There will be a bake sale Saturday at Walmart Supercenter in Union City to benefit Haley Johnston.
Miss Johnston, the daughter of Obion County Central High School teachers Daniel and Michelle Johnston and the granddaughter of Mike and Pam Wilson, all of Troy, is a freshman at OCCHS and a member of the girls’ soccer team.
She was admitted to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis early this month and is still a patient.
Donations for the bake sale are being accepted by calling 885-8328 after 3:30 p.m. or by bringing items to Walmart early Saturday, a spokesman said. Volunteers will also be welcome and are asked to call the number listed above to offer assistance.
