Miss Brown to wed Hamlin on April 6

The engagement of Brandy Brown of Obion and Dustin Hamlin of Troy are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ronnie and Tammy Brown of Obion. She is the granddaughter of Mildred Brown and the late Paul Brown and James and Wanda Wisdom, all of Obion.
She is a 2001 graduate of Obion County Central High School and is a vet assistant at Reelfoot Animal Hospital in Union City.
The groom-elect is the son of Jeff and Pat Hamlin of Troy. He is the grandson of the late Dugan and Vera Ladd of Troy and the late Johnnie “Mike” and Nell Hamlin of Union City.
He is a 2001 graduate of OCCHS and a 2007 graduate of Murray (Ky.) State University, where he earned a bachelor of science in horticulture. While at MSU, he was an active member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.
He is an employee of High Note Solutions.
The couple will wed April 6 at Second Baptist Church in Union City. Music will start at 2:30 p.m.
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the fellowship hall.
All friends and family are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
