Margaret Rhodes Posted: Monday, January 28, 2013 4:00 pm The Messenger, January 28, 2013 Margaret (Everett) Rhodes, 92, of Franklin, formerly of Union City, died Jan. 23, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Charlotte Rhodes, in Franklin. Services were 3 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with burial following in East View Cemetery. The Revs. Ron Gray, James Murphy Everett and Chuck Everett officiated. Pallbearers were Ethan Allen, Bill Ray, John Mayfield, Chris Scinta, Chad Everett, Bob Anderson, Stacey Keene and Jamie Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Dale Anderson and Ray White. The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First Baptist Church or the Alzheimers Association. She was born Nov. 21, 1920, in Fulton County in Kentucky, daughter of the late William Murphy and Fanny (Sanger) Everett. She married Robert Lee Rhodes Dec. 7, 1957. He died Sept. 6, 1976. She had been employed at the former Citizens Bank and the former Farmers Exchange Bank and was a member of Union City First Baptist Church. She had also been a Pink Lady at the local hospital.
