Barbara (Reh) Yates, 80, of Fulton, died Jan. 26, 2013, at Parkway Regional Hospital emergency room in Fulton.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service. George Ray Gunter will officiate.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142; or the charity of the donor’s choice.
She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.
She had attended Northern Illinois University and had lived in this area most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Ruth Yates of Cadiz, Ky.; her son, Martin Yates of South Fulton; and two grandchildren, Houston Morse of Loveland, Colo., and Drew Yates of Providence, R.I.
Her husband, James Martin Yates, whom she married Feb. 28, 1953, preceded her in death Feb. 16, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Kathi (Sporlein) Reh; her brother Frank J. Reh; and her grandson, Geier Deathrage III.
