The Martin Police Department, along with the state’s Alcoholic Beverage Commission, conducted an undercover alcohol compliance operation Wednesday night on area businesses.
Martin businesses cited included Tobacco Barn, Smoke and Suds, 22 Club, Pockets, Los Portales and La Cabana, according to a Martin Police Department press release issued Thursday.
All individuals allegedly involved were charged with sales to a minor and will appear in Weakley County General Sessions Court.
All business holders will be required to appear before the City of Martin’s Beer Board. A police spokesman said Los Portales and La Cabana possess alcohol licenses from the State of Tennessee and, therefore, may face possible fines from the state.
