Completed arrangements are being announced for Bud Ryland, 89, of the Englewood Lake community, who died at 4 p.m. Jan. 22, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Visitation will be at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
He was born Nov. 12, 1923, in St. Louis, son of the late James and Ruby (Beck) Ryland. He married the former Sylvia Walker Dec. 19, 1982. She survives.
He was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 in Union City and the American Legion in Martin.
He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Fran and Dave McCauley of LaBrea, Calif., and Darlene and Tony Dobson of Troy; two sons and his daughter-in-law, Tony and Eva Walker of Houston and Mike Hoffman of Fillmore, Calif.; his stepson, Allan Jones of Mississippi; his stepdaughter, Renee Jones of Martin; five grandchildren, Parker Dobson and Jonathan Dobson, both of Troy, Jason Adamson and Kevin Adamson, both of LaBrea, and Chris Walker of Houston; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Patrick Ryland; and his brother, James Ryland.
