Inez (Hayes) Neely, 97, of Hornbeak died Jan. 22, 2013, at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hornbeak Church of Christ, with Bobby Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Carden, David Hayes, Gerald Simrell, Mark Simrell, Earl Bell and Bubby Smith.
Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Friday. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hornbeak City Cemetery at Hornbeak City Hall.
She was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Charlie Walker and Emma (Webb) Hayes. She was a homemaker and a member of Hornbeak Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters and her son-in-law, Emma Lee and Harry Carden of Westport and Nancy Neely of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her brother, Flavil Hayes of Troy; two sisters, Laura Breen of Cincinnati and Nina Hayes of Nashville; three grandchildren and their spouses, James and Vivian Carden of Monrovia, Md., Bruce and Suzy Carden of West Chester, Ohio, and Rachel and Brent Spears of Nashville; and five great-grandchildren, Frances Carden of Monrovia, Cody Carden and Kacey Carden, both of West Chester, and Lilli Spears and Abbi Spears, both of Nashville.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gerald Hailey Neely, who died Feb. 19, 2002; her brother, Onan Hayes; and her sister, Oletha Mosley.
