Warren Counce Jr. Posted: Tuesday, January 22, 2013 4:00 pm The Messenger, January 22, 2013 Completed arrangements are being announced for George Warren Counce Jr., 70, of Union City, who died Jan. 20, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Memorial services are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stan Waldon officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home. He was born Dec. 1, 1942, in Henry County, son of Dorothy (Joyner) Counce of Union City and the late George Warren Counce. He was a civil engineer for Flynt Engineering and for Campbell and Associates Engineering, both in Knoxville. He was a member of Union City First United Methodist Church. He is also survived by his daughter, Leila Counce of Arizona; two sons and daughters-in-law, Trey and Kathi Counce of Knoxville and Josh and Talisha Counce of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Judy Counce of Union City, Jerry and Lisa Counce of Memphis and Keith and Tammy Counce of Cordova; his nephew, Jay Counce of Memphis; and three nieces and their spouses, Nicole Kinney of Memphis and Jo and Josh McKinnis and Cindy and Portis Tanner, all of Union City.
