Car reported stolen

Union City police are investigating the apparent theft of a vehicle from outside a woman’s apartment on West Jackson Street.
Jessie Sue Lyons, 27, of 426 West Jackson St. told police Saturday that her 2011 Chevy Impala was missing from the parking lot of her apartment complex, according to a Union City Police Department report.
She told police she had parked the car there Friday at 9:30 p.m. and it was gone Saturday at 8:50 a.m. She was not sure the vehicle was locked, but she told police she has the only set of keys.
The vehicle is silver and has Tennessee license plate D57 67T. It is valued at $18,000, according to the report.
