MPR Youth Baskeball League

The action continued for Martin Parks and Recreation’s Youth League Basketball Program on Jan. 12th. The following teams traveled to South Fulton for this weekend’s games: In the Elementary Girls’ Division, the Panthers defeated South Fulton’s 5th grade team 14-8; Orange Crush suffered a 22-11 loss to South Fulton’s 6th grade team despite holding SF to only two baskets in the second half. In Elementary Boys’ play, the Lakers dropped on overtime decision to South Fulton’s 4th grade team, while the Wildcats suffered a 26-21 setback to the 5th grade team. Middle Division action saw the Magic drop a one-point decision to SF’s 6th grade team and lost a hard fought game by 1 as South Fulton scored on a free throw at the end of regulation. The remaining league schedule included the following games.
