Jewel Myatt, 88, of Clinton, Ky., formerly of Fulton, died Jan. 15, 2013, at the Clinton-Hickman I.C.F.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Fulton First Baptist Church building fund, 115 Second St., Fulton, KY 42041; or to Gideons International, P.O. Box 1325, Fulton, KY 42041.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton and was a member of the former Dorcas Sunday School Class. A cosmetologist, she had been the owner of the former Jewel’s Beauty Shop, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron for two terms and was a member of Roberts Lodge No. 172.
She had lived in Mayfield, Ky., Crutchfield, Ky., and Fulton most of her life.
She is survived by two nieces, Sandra Lusk of Fulton and Anita Ross of Union City; and her nephew, Pat Myatt of Fulton.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Myatt; her parents, Bruce and Mattie (Parker) Slayden; and several brothers and sisters.
