On Sunday, Bro Roger’s message was taken from Psalm 63 titled, “Put Me In, Coach.” The best resolution we could have is to start out the New Year excited about serving God.

Announcements and prayer requests were made.

Rick King and Cassie Chapel led the music service. Cassie and the junior youth class performed a song. Lisa Baskette read a wonderful poem and Mary Kay Hutchins also read a poem/prayer, which was written by her grandmother.  

Sunday night Bro. Brian Duncan’s sermon was from Matthew 16 and 28, John 6 and 16 titled, “Promises of the Holy Spirit.” The one thing we can always count on is Jesus’ promises to us.

Bro Brian Duncan will be taking the youth to eat and bowling on Sunday afternoon Jan. 27.
