Euland Walker Posted: Tuesday, January 15, 2013 4:00 pm Bro. Eulane Walker, 85, of Martin, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at his residence. Services were held at noon Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel of Martin with Bro. Tim Houston and Bro. L. A. Stauffer officiated. Burial was in Hatler’s Chapel Cemetery, Martin. Brian Walker, Cory Walker, Will Harrison, Adam Walker, Ben Walker and Cody Black served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Caleb Black, Isaac Walker, Dylan Black, Ryan Black, Landon Black and Scott Walker. Walker was born April 23, 1927 in Weakley County, son of the Neil and Lillian Gatewood Walker. He was the widow of Martha Turbeville Walker. He was a retired carpenter and a retired Church of Christ minister and member of First Street Church of Christ in Union City. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Walker of Martin; three sons, Larry (Patricia) Walker of Oxford, Miss., Steve (Kathleen) Walker of Kuttawa, Ky. and Tim (Beth) Walker of Tullahoma; three daughters, Betsy (Jack) Harrison of Wilberly, Texas, Jan (Rigg) Ferguson of Milan and Jill (Tony) Black of Gibson; four brothers, T. Joe Walker and Raphael Walker, both of Martin, Bob Walker of Toledo, Ohio and Hilman Walker of Memphis; three sisters, Josephine Brundige and Deana Hane, both of Martin and Robbie Martin of Murray, Ky.; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Walker; four brothers, Bert Walker, Harvey Walker, Harold Walker and Bill Walker. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
