Head-banging man arrested by Martin police
Martin police charged a man with burglary from a motor vehicle and public intoxication, after the department received a call of a man banging his head against the wall at Dollar General.
Patrolman Drew Vernon responded and found the suspect, Aaron Drushal, inside the driver’s front door of a Black 2011 Kia Model OLX, according to an incident report.
“The offender’s behavior was extremely erratically and the offender was not making sense,” Vernon wrote in the report.
Drushal told the officer he had injected meth earlier in the day and was coming down off the drug, the report noted. He was arrested without incident.
