Art classes planned Posted: Friday, January 11, 2013 4:00 pm The Messenger, January 11, 2013 The Obion County Central High School Art Club is sponsoring art lessons for children in grades kindergarten through eighth. The lessons will be taught Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the OCCHS art rooms 207 and 209 by OCCHS art faculty, assisted by Art Club members. Cost of the lessons is $10 per lesson or $25 per unit of three lessons, payable when students come to class. All supplies will be provided. January sessions on Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Jan. 29 will include stamps/printmaking. February’s classes on Feb. 12, 19 and 26 will provide instruction in pottery. March sessions on March 12, 19 and 26 will have cartoons as the subject. Students should enter the building from the back parking lot through the commons area.
